Hatebreed opened the festival’s final day, and they absolute torn the place apart. Delivering their signature masterclass in dynamics, pacing, and sheer high-energy, their crowd interaction was nothing short of flawless. Due to a brutal 15-hour drive to Romania scheduled immediately after their set, which they shared with the crowd, the hardcore titans took the stage early under the glaring daylight. The sudden heatwave did nothing to dampen the mood; if anything, the afternoon sunshine paired perfectly with the crowd’s day-drinking festivities, creating a fantastic party atmosphere. An incredible set and the absolute best way to kick off the final stretch of Tolminator! Thank you Hatebreed.

Shifting gears completely from Hatebreed’s raw hardcore energy, Lucifer’s Child delivered a pitch-black, atmospheric masterclass that drew a massive crowd. Their set was packed with heavy, crushing riffs and immaculate musical precision, all anchored by a remarkably powerful vocal performance. Dark, intense, and musically brilliant, it was a captivating contrast that kept the final day fresh and unpredictable.

Spectral Wound kept the momentum going with a fierce display of modern black metal. Their set was a relentless storm of icy riffs, blistering speed, and raw intensity that captivated the crowd from start to finish.

Immolation proved once again why they remain absolute titans of the genre. Delivering a devastatingly heavy and tight performance, their signature dissonant riffs and oppressive grooves pulverized the audience. It was a masterclass in precision and sheer sonic force—a legendary performance that left no doubt about their status.

Taking the stage as the penultimate band of the festival, 1000mods brought a completely fresh vibe to the late-night crowd. Their signature blend of heavy stoner rock, fuzzy grooves, and psychedelic warmth offered a welcome, cool contrast to the extreme metal earlier in the day. A brilliant, atmospheric performance right when everyone needed to recharge before the absolute final act!

At the very end, Deicide took the final slot. Relentless, punishing, and uncompromisingly heavy, the Florida death metal icons tore through a devastating set that left the crowd completely exhausted and ecstatic. A powerful finish to an unforgettable festival.

Once again, Tolminator proved that there is a huge need for a Festival like this in Slovenia and wider. This was the 4th edition of the Festival and it was brilliant. Thank you Tolminator and see you next year!
