Day three brought a heavy dose of summer rain and sudden downpours, but the weather actually listened for once and cleared up right on time.
Opening up the heavy hitters for the day, Nervosa came out. They warmed up the crowd just right. Sharp thrash riffs, brutal vocals, and enough speed to kick-start the mosh pits early on. Exactly what the afternoon needed to get the engines running after the rain.
Next up, Infected Rain took the stage and completely raised the temperature. Super energetic, tight, and finely tuned. Lena’s stage presence is always a force, bouncing between insane screams and clean melodies seamlessly. The crowd ate up every second of it, heavy, dynamic, and polished to perfection.
Then came the NYHC legends. Agnostic Front is a pure, unstoppable force live. Just raw force and energy. The band held the stage like they own the place, delivering an insanely dynamic set that turned the whole floor into one giant, chaotic pit. Old-school hardcore at its absolute finest.
And then came Municipal Waste. The band delivered a top-tier, insanely dynamic concert packed with crazy energy, humor, and pure charisma. The stage presence was as funny and charismatic as ever, but the music hit like a freight train. A constant stream of crowd surfers flew over the barrier, driven by a powerful collective synergy where band and crowd became one. Nobody gave a single damn about the mud, everyone was just in the moment, having the time of their lives. Pure thrash party perfection.
And the highlihght of the night – Satyricon, a dark and heavy melody, a huge charisma and a beautiful atmosphere. Indeed, what an end of the evening should be like. The band delivered a wonderful concert, filled with dark notes, opening up to the public, crowd cheering, light transitions which suited the music perfectly, and vocals that blew your mind. Thank you Satyricon, it was a pleasure.
Day 3 was all about the moment, from heavy rainstorms and thrash warm-ups to high-octane modern metal and straight-up hardcore mayhem. Tolminator delivered once again. We are now ready for the last day of this year’s festival.
