Twenty years of riffs, noise, sweat, shows, and pure heavy metal — Rijeka’s heavy metal machine Diamond Dust is celebrating a major milestone this year with their biggest headline show to date. On Saturday, November 7, they will take the stage at Pogon for a massive anniversary concert titled “20 Years in Dust”. Opening the night as special guests are the Slovenian power/thrash metal heavyweights Eruption.
DIAMOND DUST
Founded in 2006, Diamond Dust have spent two decades building their reputation on the local heavy metal scene, driven by high-energy live performances and a distinct signature sound. Their music is rooted in classic heavy metal riffs, elevated by melodic and thrash elements alongside powerful vocals.
Following various lineup shifts over the years, the current roster features:
- Jay Hrkać – Vocals

- Alen Dumić – Guitars
- Franko Dekleva – Guitars
- Marko Jurman – Bass
In 2022, Diamond Dust released their debut full-length album, Ten Years in Dust — a collection of 11 fiery heavy metal tracks capturing their trademark energy and songwriting style.
Over the years, the band has toured extensively across Croatia and internationally, appearing at prominent festivals such as MetalDays, Lomljenje Metalom, DarkCircleFest, and Bloody Island. A special highlight in their career includes opening for American heavy metal legends Riot V.
Two decades of existence is more than just a number: it represents over 200 months of rehearsals, endless road miles, stage time, lasting friendships, evolution, ups and downs, and above all — an unyielding passion for heavy metal.
“20 Years in Dust” is more than a standard concert. It is a gathering of generations and a celebratory homecoming to everything that made, and continues to make, Diamond Dust a cornerstone of the Rijeka and Croatian metal scene.
ERUPTION
Eruption is a power/thrash metal force from Ljubljana, Slovenia, formed in late 2004. Built upon fast, guitar-driven riffs, infectious melodies, and piercing vocals, the band fuses the relentless aggression of classic thrash with power and technical metal elements.
Their discography features four studio albums:

Their latest release further expands their sound with a more technically demanding approach, wrapped in a darker, heavier atmosphere. Known for intense and energetic live sets, Eruption have shared stages with bands like Warbringer, Nuclear Assault, D.R.I., Exodus, and Iced Earth, and have performed at major festivals including MetalDays, Tolminator, and Underwall.
