Zagreb, March 16, 2026 – Heavy metal pioneers and legendary British icons Judas Priest are set to return to the Croatian stage. After more than two decades, they will perform on August 25, 2026, in the timeless atmosphere of the Pula Arena. As one of the most influential bands in the history of the genre, Judas Priest is coming to Pula as part of their “Faithkeepers” European tour, offering the audience a career-spanning setlist celebrating over half a century of music. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, March 18, through the Eventim system.
Judas Priest stands as one of the most monumental bands in heavy metal history, with a career spanning over five decades that has defined the evolution of the entire genre. Founded in 1969 in Birmingham—the city widely regarded as the birthplace of heavy metal—they quickly became synonymous with the sound. Over the years, the band has built a reputation as one of the greatest live acts on the scene, earned a Grammy Award, and secured their place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. During the 1980s, they became a global touring phenomenon and headlined the world’s largest festivals, such as Monsters of Rock, solidifying their status as a heavy metal institution. Their influence extends far beyond music; Judas Priest pioneered the visual identity of heavy metal, popularizing the iconic leather-and-studs aesthetic that has since become the symbol of metal culture.
Their latest album, the 19th in their discography, Invincible Shield, was released in March 2024 to widespread critical and fan acclaim. It proved that even 50 years after their inception, Judas Priest remains one of the most powerful and relevant forces in the global metal scene. Their legendary discography includes cult classics such as “British Steel,” “Screaming for Vengeance,” and “Painkiller.” These records birthed timeless anthems like “Breaking the Law,” “Living After Midnight,” and “You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’”—tracks that have become essential staples of the metal canon worldwide.
As part of the “Faithkeepers” European tour, Judas Priest will visit major cities across Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, the Netherlands, France, and Spain, as well as headlining some of Europe’s biggest festivals. The tour kicks off in late July in Germany and continues throughout Europe across July and August. Their stop in Croatia offers fans a rare opportunity to experience the energy and spectacle of one of the greatest metal bands of all time within the unique setting of the ancient Roman amphitheater.
