For the fourth consecutive year, the international Tolminator Metal Fest returns to the stunning confluence of the Tolminka and Soča rivers. The festival will take place from Friday, July 24, to Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Festivalgoers who want to secure the perfect camping spot and settle in early can arrive from Thursday, July 23, with the campsite opening at 8:00 AM.
As always, Tolminator offers three stages featuring more than 60 international acts spanning a wide spectrum of heavy music. From metal, hardcore, crossover, punk and grindcore to countless subgenres including death metal, black metal, industrial metal, goregrind and many more, there’s something for every fan of extreme music.
TOLMINATOR STAGE:
The Tolminator Stage comes alive every day from 5:30 PM, showcasing some of the biggest names in heavy music. Swedish melodic death metal giants IN FLAMES and German metalcore powerhouse HEAVEN SHALL BURN headline the program with their signature high-energy performances. Fans of darker sounds can look forward to legendary Norwegian black metal pioneers SATYRICON, while the infamous Glen Benton returns with the uncompromising death metal force DEICIDE. Representing the roots of New York hardcore are the legendary AGNOSTIC FRONT, joined by the equally influential and even heavier HATEBREED. Crossover thrash fans won’t want to miss MUNICIPAL WASTE, bringing their unmistakable party atmosphere all the way from the United States. The Tolminator Stage also features an exceptional lineup including BLEED FROM WITHIN, DEAFHEAVEN, WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM, 1000MODS, IMMOLATION, SACRED REICH, SPECTRAL WOUND, SANGUISUGABOGG, INFECTED RAIN, MOSCOW DEATH BRIGADE, NERVOSA, and many more.
BEACH STAGE:
Every day at 12:00 PM, the Beach Stage kicks off just a few metres from the famous river confluence, delivering an even heavier and more underground selection of artists. Among the highlights are death/grind/hardcore sensation BRAT, known for their explosive live performances led by the charismatic Liz Selfish, as well as South African slam/deathcore extremists VULVODYNIA. Internet comedy legends RAISED BY OWLS bring their unique blend of comedy, death metal and grindcore, while death metal pioneer Paul Speckmann returns with his legendary band MASTER, celebrating more than four decades of uncompromising extreme music. Also appearing are crossover favourites SIBERIAN MEAT GRINDER, Hungarian goregrind specialists PAEDIATRICIAN, together with CABAL, NECKBREAKER, TURBO KILL, GHETTO JUSTICE, MOSHED, and many more.
DIY STAGE:
The third stage, the DIY Stage, offers a completely different experience.Located near the Main Stage, it operates exclusively during the 25-minute chang eovers between Main Stage performances, ensuring there’s never a dull moment. Expect an intimate underground atmosphere with acts such as the all-female Chinese punk/hardcore band DUMMY TOYS, North American death metal outfit DARK INSANITY, Spanish grindnoise project MUTILATED JUDGE, Bosnian hardcore band URBAN INSTINCT, and many others. The DIY Stage also proudly showcases Slovenia’s thriving underground scene with performances by TROBEC, POGUBA, G.U.B., GREIA, TVROLD, LARS FROM NORWAY, MALPREML, and more.
DISCO TROPIKANA:
When the final Tolminator Stage performance ends, the party moves to the exclusive Tolminator Festival Disco, open only to festival ticket holders. Here, the DJ booth is taken over by members of bands who performed earlier that day. There’s just one rule: no metal. Expect unforgettable dance parties with music spanning virtually every genre imaginable – except the styles you’ve already heard throughout the day. Special live performances at the Disco Tropikana include Italian ukulele goregrind act GOREGOZOLA, Slovenian synthwave artist NEUROMANCER and Tolminator`s house band TLMNTR – party mosh hardcore metal as fuck punx 666!
MORNING ZEN YOGA:
After a long night of music and celebration, every festival morning begins with Zen Yoga on the beach beside the rivers. This isn’t about flexibility, expensive yoga outfits or trendy wellness rituals. It’s simply an opportunity to recover after a night of partying, recharge your body and find a little inner peace before another day of unforgettable concerts.
FOOD & DRINKS:
Tolminator takes care of its visitors with a carefully selected and diverse food and drink offering. Whether you’re looking for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a quick snack, you’ll find plenty of options. The selection caters to meat lovers, vegetarians and vegans alike. Alongside a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktail enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy, while beer lovers can head to the dedicated Beer Garden, offering more than 50 different beers from around the world.
METAL MARKET & TATTOO STUDIO:
The festival grounds also feature the Metal Market, where vendors offer officially licensed merchandise only – no counterfeit products. Visitors can browse vinyl, CDs, clothing, jewellery and unique handcrafted creations by Slovenian artists. You’ll also find the one and only Tolminator Tattoo Studio, creating exclusive festival-themed tattoos throughout the event.
CAMPING & FESTIVAL FACILITIES:
To ensure the most comfortable stay possible, Tolminator offers several camping options, including standard camping, camper van camping, group camping, family camping and tent rentals for visitors travelling light. The festival grounds are equipped with numerous toilets and showers, cleaned and maintained several times a day. Guests seeking extra comfort can enjoy a dedicated air-conditioned chill-out area with internet access. Secure lockers are available next to the information point for storing documents, phones and other valuables. Throughout the festival, professional security staff, medical personnel and firefighters are present on-site. During the day, a certified lifeguard is also stationed at the beach by the river confluence to ensure everyone’s safety.
