Visions of Atlantis (Austria)
Austrian symphonic metal band Visions of Atlantis will make their Croatian debut on March 1, 2026, at Zagreb’s Močvara club. The band is performing for the Croatian audience for the first time as part of a European tour promoting their current album, “Pirates II – Armada.” Fans can expect a spectacular blend of powerful vocals, orchestral arrangements, and the cinematic atmosphere that has made them a standout name on the global scene. Lovers of the pirate aesthetic are in for a true treat.
About the Band
Founded in 2000 in Styria, Visions of Atlantis was inspired by the myth of Atlantis and the desire to combine male and female vocals with orchestral metal. Their musical style is described as a fusion of symphonic and power metal with cinematic orchestration, emphasized by strong melodies and emotional vocal dialogues. Despite several lineup changes over the years, they have maintained their signature symphonic style and thematic dedication to mythical, historical, and adventurous motifs.
The band quickly caught the attention of the European metal scene with their debut album Eternal Endless Infinity (2002), followed by intensive tours alongside giants like Nightwish and Epica.
A New Era
Their orchestral approach grew richer over time, culminating in the albums Delta (2011) and Ethera (2013). A key turning point came in 2013 with the arrival of French singer Clémentine Delauney, who became the face of the band. Her commanding stage presence and vocal prowess, paired with Michele Guaitoli’s male vocals, brought a new dynamic and international breakthrough. The album The Deep & The Dark (2018) marked their triumphant return and their first entry into global symphonic metal charts.
With subsequent albums Wanderers (2019) and Pirates (2022), Visions of Atlantis confirmed their status as a leading new-generation European metal band. Their songs explore themes of long journeys, personal transformations, and mythical tales. Known for their atmospheric and emotional live performances and strong audience interaction, they have built a reputation as a compelling live act, supported by several live album releases.
Visions of Atlantis have performed at major European festivals such as Wacken Open Air and Masters of Rock, and have toured extensively across North and South America, Japan, and Australia.
